Instances
Named styles between the masters, such as Medium at 500, exported as their own fonts.
Where
- Font › Font info… › Masters
- File › Export font… (Ctrl+E)
An instance is a named style at a weight between your masters: Regular at 400, Medium at 500, SemiBold at 600. Export can write every instance as its own font file ("Family-Medium.ttf"). A glyph whose masters don't match is taken from the nearer master and reported.
