Name a glyph a.sc, f_i or g.ss01 and the feature is written for you.

ChewPack writes features from glyph names: .sc suffixes give small caps, names like f_i give ligatures, .ss01–.ss20 give stylistic sets, and so on. Code you write yourself takes precedence for the same feature. You can turn automatic features off and see the code they produce.
