Adding, duplicating and renaming glyphs

Add glyphs beyond your languages, duplicate one as a starting point, change its name or Unicode value.

  • Glyph › Duplicate glyph…
  • Glyph › Delete glyph
  • Glyph › Glyph identity…

Add glyphs… adds characters or named glyphs to the font. Duplicate glyph… copies a glyph under a new name; it's the usual start for an alternate like a.ss01. Glyph identity… changes a glyph's name, Unicode value and OpenType class (base, ligature, mark, component, or automatic).

Deleting a glyph can be undone from the main window.
