Starting a new font
Name the font, choose where it's saved and which languages it covers.
Where
- Start screen
- File › New font… (Ctrl+N)
When ChewPack opens you see the start screen: recent fonts on one side, a new font on the other.
For a new font, type its family name, pick the folder it's saved in, and tick the languages it should support. The languages decide which letters the glyph grid shows, so a font for English and Czech lists the Czech accented letters but not Greek or Cyrillic. You can change the languages any time in Font › Languages….
ChewPack never overwrites a font already saved under the same name.
