Click to place a corner point. Drag while placing a point to pull out its handles and make a curve. Click the first point again to close the contour.

Tips:

• Put points at the extremes of curves (top, bottom, left, right); fonts render best that way, and Add points at extremes does it for you.
• Points snap to the baseline, x-height and other metric lines, and to their overshoot zones.
• Press Esc to stop drawing.
