Offset path

Offset moves every point of a contour outward (bolder) or inward (thinner) by a distance in font units. Holes shrink as the ink grows. Curve handles scale with their curve, so round shapes stay round.

An open path becomes a closed outline of the stroke width you choose, with flat or round ends. Draw a skeleton with the Pen and give it weight.
