Components and anchors

Build glyphs from other glyphs, and mark where accents attach.

A component is a live copy of another glyph: build é from e plus an accent and it updates whenever you change e. Decompose turns a component into ordinary outlines.

An anchor is a named point that marks where things attach: top on a letter, _top on an accent. Anchors place accents when you build letters, and ChewPack exports them as OpenType mark positioning, so apps can stack accents on any letter.
